All this, because I can't commit to writing anything. Everything I'm trying to write seems (here's a good middle-school bad kid word) "stupid". There's coffee at my elbow, it's cold and foggy outside, butt's in chair, and it's a great time to dig in and write. So here I go. . .
I think I'll check my email.

It must be something in the air, because I am having the same problem...

Dear Ms. Hobbs--I suspect that you are a rank amateur when it comes to the art of procrastination. I think your long list of published books indicates that you are only a dabbler in the the field of postponement and torturous inactivity. I believe I could give you a few pointers...if you are wiling to wait.
I promise I will not procrastinate when it comes to reading your new book!
Great job on your website, Val! You're doing great. Maybe I'll take the leap myself. I'm looking forward to following your tour--
Hugs and big congrats--
