I'm back!

I can't believe that it's been almost two months since I last blogged. I'd like to say I wrote a book in that time but, alas,I am not superwoman. I did one heck of a lot of revising though and finished what is now called The Touch Of A Kiss. Sounds hot,no? Let's hope the editor at Penguin thinks so. Then WHAMO I got my middle-grade novel, Lucy In The Sky, which I thought was "in the can" back from FSG. Three times. I think I've learned my lesson at last. Make a calendar BEFORE starting to write, or at least somewhere early in process.

Read The Hunger Games this week. Couldn't put it down. I am positively green (black & blue) with jealousy. I adored Katniss Everdeen.

My grandson just asked me why we never have any girl presidents. How do you answer that one?? I did say that I was sure there would be one soon. He's six. I suppose in his lifetime there's a chance.

So glad you're back! I agree, The Hunger Games is really something else.

I thought about you when I read the book, Patty. You were SO right. I can't wait for Book Two.

Just dropping in--in case you don't ever go back and see the answer on my blog...

I can't wait to see what you do with the big wide sky of the fantasy genre.

The "big wide sky" is turning out to be the big wide sea. And I'm diving in!
